Birmingham Lacrosse United is a summer travel and camp program for girls and boys. blulax

Angela was first introduced to lacrosse when her oldest daughter decided to give it a try in 6th grade.  She started out as a team parent for that team and her son's Hoover Hawks U9 team. That was 9 years ago!

After working with Coach Shea as a team parent with Berry Girls Lacrosse, they decided to try to put together a travel team and after a summer or 2 of working out the kinks,  BLU was born.  BLU had girls only until last summer when Angela could not find the right place for her son to play summer travel lacrosse. Midway through May 2016, a Google sheet went out and they weren't the only ones who wanted to play.  BLU fielded 3 boys teams in the summer of 2016 in 3 tournaments.
Angela's title is ever changing with BLU.  Mainly she keeps you as well informed as possible about practices, what you owe, hotel information etc.   She tries to answer all your questions or at least forward you to someone who knows the answer.  As Ryan puts it, "Angela keeps me and Lisa married!"
Angela is a founding member of Hoover Youth Lacrosse Organization and founding president of Spain Park Girls Lacrosse Board.  She is married to Keith and they have 4 children.  Annie (retired SPHS player), Mary Martin (biggest cheerleader ever), Sarah (former MS player) and Steven (current BLU 14U player).
